I would change/expand on the events in Jabba's palace a bit differently.

When Leia is first shoved up against Jabba and warns him of her "powerful friends," I'd actually show her getting licked. When the camera cuts to Threepio saying he can't bear to watch, I'd go back and show a quick shot of Jabba licking Leia's face, then cutting back to Salacious Crumb laughing.
Cut to Han and Chewie in the quarantine as normal.
Show Leia, having pulled back from Jabba, being stripped of just her arms and armor, but still wearing her clothes (leather/canvas, etc.), and then show several of Jabba's dancers approaching her, and Leia looks fearfully at them.
Cut to the next day (the FIRST OF TWO) and show Leia, in the gold bikini and a chain and collar, being brought in to Jabba by the other dancers. The whole Audience Chamber cheering and hooting, making Leia very embarassed. Have Jabba say a familiar "Bring her to me," and maybe show someone (Bib Fortuna, maybe?) bolting the chain to Jabba's throne. Then cut back to Leia looking fearful.
More of Han and Chewie.
Cut to later that night. There's a light in the sky outside the palace. It gets brighter, and it's an X-Wing--Luke--as it comes in. It lands near the Millennium Falcon.
Back to Leia, who is facing Jabba on his throne. He laughs, and everyone else in the Audience Camber starts laughing too. Jabba shouts, "Da eitha," and Leia takes a heavy breath...then slowly makes herself move toward him.
The NEXT-next morning, Luke arrives. Leia's chained beside Jabba, etc. Luke comes in, Jabba is awoken, Luke makes his threat, he gets dropped to the Rancor, etc. etc. as normal.
Right after the Rancor scene finishes and Lando goes to help Luke and Han back up, Jabba slackens the chain, and Leia could gasp and cough. He'll allow her to sit upright, then he'll drop his hand on her shoulder. She'll shrug him off, cringing, but he'll put his hand back immediately. Then it would cut to, "Han!" "Luke!" etc., so there's more continuity to Leia's struggle before Jabba in the seconds that follow.
As everyone is boarding the Sail Barge, Jabba and a group of other onlookers (including other slaves/dancers) are all cheering and hooting. Leia is standing before Jabba again, looking around sheepishly. The Max Reebo band starts up a slow, slinky song, and Jabba shouts, subtitled: "Do it again!" Leia will reluctantly start to twist and wiggle her body, her face showing deeply embarrassment.
On the Sail Barge, Jabba gets busy in conversation with someone, and Leia sneaks off of the throne and walks to the window.
Jabba will yank on Leia's chain, and she'll come running to him and jumping up on his throne as previously filmed. She rises before him, and Jabba says "Soon you will learn to appreciate me," but then the camera will cut down to show him hugging his arm around Leia's waist, and Bib Fortuna will let his hand go from her back. Back to their faces, the goblet comes closer, and Leia flinches and prepares to take a sip, with a cozy-sounding chuckle from Jabba.
As the skiffs and Sail Barge "park" around the Sarlaac, the scene will cut to Leia, pulling away from Jabba, looking disgusted and relieved. He could say to her, "Stay close, my pretty," and she'll turn around on the throne to face the window.
The Pit of Carkoon sequence unfolds as previously filmed.

That's what I would do differently.
