I have a question about bit-perfect Laserdisc audio capturing:

I use a Soundblaster X-FI Titanium card with the official ASIO drivers and the bit-perfect recording is done by wavelab 6 or reaper. With both programs I get the digital signal.

BUT during my testings I found out something really disturbing/interesting:

I have done another capture of the same Laserdisc sound via analog audio which is definetely in the correct playing time (I see that during the cutting process for an HD Master).

The incoming digital signal is shorter than it analog counterpart!

I tested this also with a cd on a blu-ray player. The original ripped WAV  is longer than the optical/digital captured signal.

To be exact: In 5 minutes you have a delay of 10ms

Or the captured audio has to be longer with a factor of 0,0033 (period).

Is that a known problem with this audio card? Or the drivers? Or my settings? I really don't know what to optimize...

2 LD Players and 1 BD Player tested. So it is definetely the sound card or the drivers.

I will definetly support the work here with capturing bit-perfect LD audio, but only if it is 100% correct.

Because many users here have used that card for bit-perfect recording I bought that one and figured out that issue. So it has to be the same with everyone else who uses this card!?
