It's a processed median of captures from 5 different pressings containing the same DC master.
1) Japanese DC (1st edition) 2) US DC (1st pressing) 3) US DC (2nd pressing) 4) US Faces 5) the X0 capture posted to a.b.sw, presumably from a US DC set as well.
The goal was to get it to roughly the level of the GOUT DVD, potentially allowing an upscale to 720p, in line with the coming team blu release. Special effort was given to improving the starfield, as it is particularly dim on all DC sources. The Japanese SC is better in this regard, but the cropping is different/greater, making the DC source preferable to me.
