Who should the villain(s) of the sequel trilogy be? (if the sequel trilogy has villains)

One thing that would make me run out of theater (as in I would hate it more than anyone hates Jar Jar) would be if a Jedi falls and declares themselves a Sith.

"if the sequel trilogy has villains"

Nah, the good guys will just sit around for three movies drinking lemonade on the porch.

He has blue skin, red eyes, and wears a white Imperial uniform.

One must account for all possibilities.

Georgey porgey wrote the treatment.

We all know it's going to be Palpatine, or some super secret apprentice we never heard of before.

Why would we hear about Palpatine's secret apprentice in a saga that's supposed to be able to stand with 6 episodes?

A new vile gangster like Jabba the Hutt or Sise Fromm.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

An army of Yuuzhan Vong-Sith hybrids in command of a fleet of Sun Crushers led by every villain ever created for the EU.

Star Wars has a tradition of two villains per movie:

1) Tarkin/Vader

2) Vader/Fett

3) Emperor/Vader

My idea is a Godfather-like crime boss whose organization fled to the Outer Rim under the harsh rule of the Empire, but now seeks to undermine the fledgling new Republic.  His son is strong in the Force and has learned the ways of the dark side from ancient Sith artifacts and seeks to supplant his father.

If Fett counts as a second villain of ESB, Jabba counts as a third villain of ROTJ thus breaking your rule.

Fett isn't that much of a villain he is a hired gun.

I like this idea.

But in the end, they patch their differences and share a lemonade on the porch?

30 years after ROTJ seems like a very shitty period so I honestly have no idea about villains. If they selected this period purely to be able to bring the original cast back then that is very sad.

Don't worry about that, he just hates everything.

Can we at least wait until we see a teaser before we make such judgements? ;)

Bad EU idea from the 90's Palpatine's Son.

Another Darth Maul clone with double bladed red lightsaber.

Honestly i hope its none of these.

Does anybody else think that they might not have Sith in the sequel trilogy so that people don't think of "unliiiiimited powaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!"?
