Finally AMT/ERTL's 1:6 plastic Stap/Battle Droid kit...
...Which I decided would look much better if I remade the Droid in a standing position.
This entailed cutting, repositioning, pinning and even remaking alot of the joints to get the Droid into a lifelike pose.
Getting the weathering 'movie accurate' was quite fun and I used graphite shavings, a cutton bud and then matte varnish to achieve it.
The trickiest thing was that the Droid didn't have a blaster so I had to scratch build one to scale out of refashioned plastic odds and ends. Then reposition all the fingers to hold the gun and touch the trigger.
