On top of all the other nosy threads out there about food and books and Mormons etc I thought it would be interesting to log any really weird dreams we may have and comments on them.

I’ll start the ball rolling with the thread namer (feel free to name your posts after your dreams).

Last night I dreamt I was cleaning a Kitchen which was not my own.

I opened up a cupboard to clear it but it was almost empty.

I got a dustpan and brush and knocked into it a dark shape tucked at the back obscured by shadow.

It was quite heavy so I lowered the dustpan to the floor.

Dangling over the edge of the dustpan and about the size of a toilet lid was a giant woodlouse.

If that wasn’t strange enough it seemed to be budding smaller woodlice (ranging from hand sized to about the size a regular woodlouse).

I wasn’t frightened by this thing but a bit weirded out.

One of the budding woodlice had broken off from it’s mother and was scuttling across the wet floor.

I scooped her up with the dustpan and the mother gave a screech.

I tried to explain to her I meant no harm and put her baby outside in the garden.

I then went to pick up the mother. She got spooked and folded herself and her remaining babies into a black square (roughly the size of folded bath towel).

Her antennae wiggled around and she looked like a leather telly.

I popped her outside and she unfurled and darted off to the shelter of the treeline.

When I woke up I believed she was real for a few minutes and hoped one day to see that giant fractal woodlouse again.
