I strongly confide in vynil quality, but it should be captured using the best turntables and cartridges, and sound card, at high frequencies and bitrates. Nobody believes that a vynil could sound much better than CD, until one has heard it with his own ears...
I concur. Well preserved vinyl can and usually is far superior to it's CD counterpart. It's the dynamics of vinyl, quality equipment, and the skills of the person doing the transfer that really make that analog audio shine.
