I have two suggestions...

First of all, TENEBRAE has a sensational HD transfer known as the Wildside transfer. Synapse and Arrow are releasing the same transfer on some SE's soon. But they will be mono. Now that's fine. The film was mono originally.

BUT... Anchor Bay did a very good remix of the film for DVD years ago. It's one of the only 5.1 remixes I actually like and you guys know I despise most remixes. However, the Anchor Bay DVD transfer was from a damaged source so it's missing footage and that means the remix cannot be lined up with the HD source. 

This is where maybe Team Blu can work some magic. I don't know if you can get that intricate with sound editing but perhaps there is a way to restore this mix so it can be muxed in with the HD Wildside transfer.

SHOUT AT THE DEVIL!

It aired on MGM-HD (I believe) and I had it on my old DVR. It was the only time I know of that the full length uncut version was shown and it looked and sounded terrific. Such a great film. A true classic and easily Roger Moore's best non 007 picture. Lee Marvin was awesome.

Same here. I've no way of snagging them, otherwise I would.

Well I have this one and from what I read it is the best, but I think both of these I have are the same myself, maybe not.

They are the same I have both and they are per bit identical as I proved in another thread here and on that other site, but both are miles better than the US even if thay are far from perfect.

There is no better source

Isn't the US theatrical cut that's the packaged with the German and French the same as the US BD.

I  prefer the US theatrical cut better then the other 2 cuts, to bad the US cut didn't look as good as the others.

Yes the US and the International cut have the S-Mart ending.

International cut has  jokes and lines that differ from the US but the US is still better IMO.

Yea I don't like the other ending, the one where he over sleeps lol, I should know this but how many darn versions of this film are there? I thought there was only 2, Apocalyptic ending and S-Mart ending.

There's 3 versions but 2 of the endings are the same.

I much prefer the MGM extended DVD cut from Europe. It is awesome... Except for two changes. 

1. It doesn't have the line, "Good... Bad... I'm the guy with the gun."

2. The S-mart ending is so much funnier. 

No questions that everything else about the longer cut is better. It's not fluff or filler.

Not true, i have all 3 cuts and the International cut has the S-Mart ending.

fyi, the studio-canal bd of convoy is uncut.
