Hey there Harmy.

I've already enjoyed your remastered 2.1 release, partly despecialized ROTJ and ESB. Few days ago I've watched the first half of your phenomenal 2.5 release. The bit around the cantina scene is always a good breaking point ;)

I've got a few questions you might just answer personally.

1. What exactly is the Mos Eisley scene you've used from the team negative1 35mm LPP print? Is it the the part in the city where Obi Wan goes like "you don't need to see his identification" etc.

or the Cantina scene and later?

2. Please give a short explanation of the three first audio mixes. What exactly does each one mean?

Are the stere and mono mix just a "mix-down" of the same 6-track source. Or are those different sources, recreations which contain the famous missing lines/alternate takes?

Where do they source from and/or who was responsible.

Thanks anyway.

And then there's that interesting read I've just got from the team negative1's restoration thread http://www.wideanglecloseup.com/starwarsaudio.html
