Apologies if this has been covered, looking through 005's Google+ gallery am I correct in assuming that the only wipes you've de-specialised are those leading to footage that has also been de-specialised?
Thanks.
If you can find it without a heavy price tag;-) Nero Platinum 2014 seems to have some good Blu-ray authoring features, including menus. Retail $109.99.
There's a slimmed-down video-only version, including the Blu-ray features for $39.99.
Well, I used to use Nero for authoring DVDs but it always re-encoded the video, so I don't know, if this new version is any better in that respect.
I was thinking, is there anyone here with the knowledge of and access to some higher end BD authoring software, who could maybe put the thing together for me according to my desing?
I changed my Arcsoft DTS decoder, and now I am able to decode the DTS-HD MA mono file correctly! I was able to convert it to Wav with Eac3to!
You need the first version of Arcsoft DTS decoder to decode it correctly with Eac3to (v. 1.1.0.0)
I'm not a Nero salesperson, nor do I play one on TV, but according to their site:
"Blu-ray Disc compatible applications already found in the Nero 7 (and above) software suite today include Nero Burning ROM and Nero Express, which enable Blu-ray Disc data recording on BD-R/RE media and the creation of 1:1 copies of any unprotected BD media."
.......Which I interpret as no quality loss or re-encoding. Could be wrong and the menu capabilities are not described very well other than "Hollywood Quality." The video samples of some of their menu possibilites look pretty good, though.
Edit: I'm not seeing DTS as a supported format here, so it could be a dead end:(
No, "creation of 1:1 copies of any unprotected BD media" means that Nero allows you to copy unprotected BDs, not to CREATE unprotected BDs. At least that's how I understood it. Nero ALWAYS reencoded the video. which is the reason why I stopped using it ages ago.

Correct Nero always reencodes. IMHO it's crapware.
It's possible the authors of MultiAVCHD could be contacted about the limitation as to number of audios ?

Maybe DVDFab Blu-ray Creator?
I may be able to get my hands on Sonic Scenarist BD which appears to be the only decent authoring tool out there. I have friends with better knowledge and access and providing I can learn how to use it (which I should be able to, I usually can figure new software out very quickly) I'd be more than happy to help.
I should know in a couple of days if it's something I can deliver on.
Cool, I'll see if I figure something out by then and if not, I'll take you up on the offer :-)
I've decided to go with the route of using DVD Architect and inserting everything via BDFix.
I'm still building the menus which are basic but are straight to the point.
For the main menu, it'll play the animation that Harmy did a while ago, then to a still frame at the end with the options added on.
Here's what I've done so far:
I mentioned before that I intended to add in the bonus features from the earlier releases also.
FINISHED Projects: Chronologically LOST HD
I was thinking about DVD Architect. Can it do the job then?
Damn, I was wrong about the amount of audio/sub tracks it allowed. DVD Architect can only support 8 audio and 32 subtitle tracks. I could probably add in the rest with BDFix as I've done it with subbing anime releases, but without a menu link, they would only be accessible via remote function.
Guess I'll have to remove what I don't need for mine then.

I watched the MKV.
It looks fucking amazing, great work Harmy.

Ah, so you couldn't wait after all.
...
You're welcome.
I hope Empire and Jedi can get some love soon now that Star Wars 2.5 is out. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I honestly would have preferred if Empire and Jedi had gotten their chance at 2.0 versions first, if Star Wars 2.5 was going to take this long after 2.1.
But I still greatly appreciate the work that Harmy and everyone who contributed has done (I even contributed a slight amount myself through some of the foreign language subs/dubs), and I will greatly enjoy sitting down to watch 2.5 the next time I'm in the mood for the original Star Wars.

For some odd reason the copy on myspleen doesn't download when loading up the torrent...is anyone else having the same issue??
To be honest I have it downloading just fine and it is working all though because I have to go out to get wifi everyday it takes longer but I am just doing what Yoda said "patience"
What’s worse George Lucas changing the OT or selling the rights to Disney
What BD authoring tools don't re-encode?
I created a working Blu-Ray from the MKV using tsMuxeR. It just remuxes all the streams and creates the Blu-Ray file structure.
If you can live without a custom menu, this is a great solution.

I was going to try this for kicks, just to see if it'd work, but get a "matroska parse error: invalid h264 NAL unit size. NAL unit truncated" error :(
Will wait for the "real deal" in any case... Just wanted to see if there was a quick way to burn for playback on a standalone player. Ah well.
Yeah, you'd need to use MKVExtract to demux the files from the MKV first and then mux in TS Muxer.

Just open the mkv with mkvmerge GUI or MKVExtractGUI2 (both part of the free MKVToolnix package) and mux it again. Then try again with tsmuxer. Worked for me. :)
Edit: Harmy beat me to it.
