No luck with Jdownloader (which installed a virus/malware on my pc), either.

Let me guess: During installation, you just kept clicking next without reading each dialog, right?

Not at all. I did the custom install and disabled the search bar option. My virus killer threw up an alert, so I quarantined that but I still got served a healthy helping of malware.

Did you also click "Decline" in that one dialog?

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

I'm almost certain I did.

Infact, I re-installed the program a second time, assuming I had made such a mistake, and shit still went crazy!

I guess the only other explanation is that I didn't managed to wipe everything properly after the first time around.

So those of you that have not commented yet do you like this release?

Watched it the other night (120" JVC projector set up) and it looked amazing. I can't believe how much you were able to salvage and can't thank you guys enough for doing so and for sharing it with others.

Now I have the lamentable (yet honorable) task of burning off half-a-dozen or more copies and mailing them to friends around the world...

Having now watched Team Blu’s NTLD90 and I also spent a lot of  time with back-and-forth, comparing the vídeo options and multiple soundtracks, I should say: WOW!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!

Dark Jedi and the team have outdone themselves this time. A professional class work, no less. The selection of audio tracks is amazing and the two video options are beyond what I could imagine for the movie. Also, the remastered vídeo shows a huge improvement over Twilight Time’s offering.

I’m not a big fan of extras features, besides trailers, but the selection included here has impressed me. Specially the before-and-after segment, it was a such a cool unique feature.

For anyone on the fence, do be. Enjoy this gem as soon as you can.

I thank TeamBlu again for making this fantastic work available to all of us enthusitasts. Congratulations!!!

I love this movie and this is just the best edition ever. No doubt. Great picture quality and lots of great extras to enjoy. You can see the great effort they put on this.

I didn't have the chance to watch it fully but I loved what I saw.

THANKS a lot!

Is 'stream 00012.m2s' the special edition video file? If I just download that file using utorrent will it play with audio?

Author

How about just download the whole thing? There's enough seeds that it will go quick. Once you got it just use makeMKV on it to get that file in a format that works for you.

I'm pretty sure he downloaded it from one of those fake websites, like this one: www.jdownloader.com <-- DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM HERE

I hate those sites. They pop up at the top of every search result, and if you're not paying attention, you might actually think they're legit...until you install the program and have your computer taken over =|

Edit: Ha ha, I just happened to notice the small text at the bottom of that page:

"Jdownloader.com is not the official website of JDownloader program. The official developers are in jdownloader.org"

I'm pretty sure I didn't. I've been getting JDownloader from their official site for about 6 years now.

But stranger things have happened. Anyone willing to go to JDownloader.org and give it a shot? I'll happily accept their findings.

may i ask why the ld audio was upconverted from 16bit to 24bit?

afaik re-sampling ld audio from 44.1khz to 48khz for dvd/bd usage is basically lossless, if a high quality sampling tool is used. so is there any benefit also changing it from 16bit to 24bit?

Thanks to the kind heart of a member I was finally able to check out this release last night.  It's been nearly a month, but I was finally able to finish downloading and able to watch the Film last night.  My wife has been in and out of the hospital over the last month with a difficult pregnancy and my own work schedule cut short my ability to download the files quickly, but I'm happy to have finally finished.  I had high hopes for the project as it sounded like a true labor of love and the film has always been special to me as one of my childhood favorites growing up.

I was simply blown away by what I saw last night.  The film looked amazing and had a level of polish to rival that of a Scream factory release.  The ability to switch between sources was really really cool, and I LOVED the plethora of special features included.  Since I already own the DVD and Twilight Time Blu ray, most features weren't new, but it was nice to have them all in one place.  I really really liked the 2 Team Blu featuretes which presented the side by side comparison of just how dark the Twilight Time release was compared with what you folks put together.  Even my wife found it interesting to see the comparison.  Everything about this project screams passion and love for the source material including the fantastic disk art/packaging designs... (though I still need to find suitable paper stock to print the slipcover).

Thank you Team Blu for sharing with me as this release is without a doubt the definitive release of Night of the Living Dead 1990.  I still have several DL BD-R's left along with a good amount of SL BD-R's as well, hopefully I can help on the most basic level with another project for the site since ya'll were kind enough to share with me.

Nope. If it's 16 bit to begin with, you can't create more detail. (And even if you could, the difference between 16bit and 24bit is impossible to hear, unless you have magic ears.)

I was following this project on another forum awhile back and was really looking forward to purchasing this package as a companion/release to the Twilight Time release. Now that I have seen pictures of it, I want it even more.  I understand the reasons why it won't be produced, though. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to download the project and make my own BD. I don't expect anyone on here would be willing to do that, but if someone could send me a link to download the cover art and slipcover art, at least I could print that out and jazz up the version I do own. I know someone earlier asked about it and was told it was included with the project, but my computer is far too ancient and hard drive too full to download the entire thing. If anyone can help, though, I'd be eternally grateful! Thanks!

The artwork does not match anything but this set specifically, all the specs\extras and such are solely for this set, so I really do not see why anyone would want them unless the idea was to edit them for your own purposes.

Author

I know the specs don't match any other release, I just like it much better, and since it's just for me, I don't mind that they don't match. But I will take that as a "no" from you, but thanks for replying.

Downloaded, burnt, watched.  I really can't say enough about the job you guys do. The video and audio were spectacular. The amount and quality of the extras as well as the many audio options was incredible. This is the second of your projects I have enjoyed. The other being FN2.A big thank you to all involved.

Hey guys, I'm happy that someone fixed the awful Blu ray release. Is there any way someone could pm me the download links? Thanks!

Been meaning to comment on the nice release, but been very busy for the last month.  And it has taken multiple days to watch every feature.  Besides agreeing with all the comments on the picture quality and switching between versions, I really like the extra source descriptions.  It has been greatly improved from the CTB release.

The workprint quality is better than I expected from the source material.  It shows the uncut gore effects, so I liked being able to see them.

The commentary Tom is kind of refrained from saying much, but he gave his opinions during the audience questions and answers session.

When I first tried the menu out, the highlighted "pointer" got lost somewhere.  I think it was either toggling between video, audio, or subtitles where the highlighting disappeared and it took awhile to return to normal functionality.  I haven't retried replicating it, so maybe it was an one time glitch.

Great job everyone.
