@Turisu: Well, I didn't really change the colours from the 97SE in those shots - looking at this direct comparison, it seems to me that some shots are actually the same in the '04 version, so I'm gonna have to do some more comparing in those shots and see what I can use from what.

Notice in the Wampa cave scene, the BD footage goes black from time to time, that's where there were frames missing and I had to fill them in, sometimes through slowing the shot down using AE's "pixel motion" frame interpolation but sometimes also by cutting out and animating the separate elements (this was done in the shots that are in the picture comparisons).

Well, they're trimmed at the end of shots, where an SE shot was inserted. It doesn't really go black in the BD of course, I just added the black to compensate for the time difference and show where the frames were missing.

Hi Harmy, I know you had a color reference for every shot in Star Wars. Has one appeared for Empire? On September 3, Team Negative 1 said they have "obtained further prints of Empire that are much cleaner and have more accurate colors than our previous ones." Have you thought of asking them to make scans for version 2.5?

No, I cannot - seriously - I'll have to take a page from Adywan's book on this one and say it will be done when it's done - could be a month, could be a year, I really don't know. As to first screenshots from v2.0, you may wanna take a look few pages back.

Just an idea for this. Have you considered removing the episode numbers from ESB and RotJ crawls. I know that you're trying to get these as close to theatrical as possible, but seems like a change that could be really cool and match them up to your SW Despecialized. Also cuts ties to the PT a bit.

You do realize that the lack of an episode # on the SWDeEd is because that is accurate to the theatrical, right?

Yeah... I'm less dense than my post may have made me look to some people :P

Just not something I'd ever seen anyone do so thought I'd throw it out there.

It would be a huge revision and would go completely against the spirit of this edit. I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad idea, just not for this project.
