Indeed you could make the positions more realistic considering he has only a microsecond between whatever frees his bonds and raising his arms up.
Reading around it seems Harrison wears a size 12 shoe (you know what they say about men with big shoes... big FEET HA HA HA) and he is 6ft 1 so positioning an approximate set of shoes shouldn't be too hard.
Feet and hands are generally proportional so he should have the hands of a man with size 12 shoes.
There must be someone Ady knows with size 12 feet?

"Actually all i would need to get hold of so i can carry on with building the prop and film it is the hands. But they have to be taken from the original film used prop (which most of the Han in Carbonite fan made props are anyway) thanks to Harrison's slightly twisted fingers. I did try casting my own but it is impossible to get the hands in the exact same pose :("
