This is the Year of the Little Mermaid, what with her Blu-ray coming out in a week and a half and the sequel and prequel packaged together in November.

I'm excited.

But I know better than to dream that Disney would release the TV series.

Is anyone working on a preservation of same? I have neither the skills nor the hardware nor even the software to make a Blu-ray disc, but it would be a truly wonderful thing to experience.

(Then again, I know that Disney's *shown* them in HD, but are they of sufficient quality?)
