My apologies…I was unaware that such items were not allowed…I came across this site when I was in search of work prints and I came across talks of them and how to obtain them…so I naturally assumed a good place to place such a way was in the trading and selling section though I do admit to being mistaken and seeing the talk about work prints in the preservation fan edit section, so that correction is duly noted…I had actually heard from two people already, so I do think there is more than just “little value” however…these items are rare and I have traded many times with many different people for a long while… my goal is not to make a profit…definitely in the wrong profession if I was in it for the money…my goal IS to share…and primarily that has been with like minded people who are collectors just like me…and to the person that mentioned sharing, um…trading is a way to share…one way anyway…people obtain what they want and you obtain what you want…as far as uploading to places such as You Tube…sure…I’d be willing to do that too…definitely something to look into as I actually didn't know they were available that way, as I only dealt with the "hard stuff"…but nothing wrong with holding the actual product in your hands without having buffering issues isn’t it?

I believe the common technique today is torrents (particularly using the Myspleen tracker) or newsgroup uploads.

That way, even people who are new and have no "collection" can get things.

duly noted...torrents are the most widely used way to obtain items such as these...but I have traded with those that have gotten items from torrents...and the end result is a bad wavy picture that looks like someone taped it from the UK...not to mention the risk involved of downloading a corrupt file or having an incomplete file...I see nothing wrong with trading physical discs, as I'm still sharing with others who have a similar interest..and in fact, I'm not the only one that thinks this way, I'm I'm actually in the middle of two trades at this very moment with two work print enthusiasts just like me...but to each their own
