I visit here every so often, see some of the idiotic things I said when I was younger, and more foolish, and I cringe. *shudders*

On another note, I've been leaving my school campus for lunch everyday for the past three weeks. I've pretty much been eating fast food for every meal. I'm also broke, because I'm spending a lot of money on gas. I feel sick from having this diet, it's hell.

Learn ways to eat healthy(ish) on the cheap and on the go. It is not all that hard, you just have to form a habit. I used to eat fast food all the time because of how easy and simple it was, and it always made me feel tired, lazy, lethargic, and bloated.

I found making big bags of trail mix including various nuts and dried fruits was a good cheap way to get a bit of energy and sustenance during busy days. If you have a grocery store within convenient distance from your campus, supplementing the trail mix with fresh fruit, yogurt, and/or some cheese makes for a pretty satisfying meal. If you know anyone with a Sam's or Cosco card that can take you shopping, as well as happen to have one of those stores around, then buying things like nuts and dried fruit in bulk is a great way to save a lot of money on them.

You are what you eat, and fast food daily is going to make you feel like a walking bucket of fast food, and in the long run, it really isn't all that cheap unless you're content with just an item or two off the dollar menu. If you find yourself craving that fat heavy fast food diet experience, grab a few avocados and keep them around, half of one along with your meal should satisfy your body's fat cravings.
