Your pictures prove that the scanner is to the side of the cockpit and he then turns to face forward. The curvature of the window shows that the audience is viewing from the rear of the cockpit looking directly forward.
I think the only (minor) issue I would see is that the windshield curvature would need to be deleted, as Boba should be sitting out in the cockpit, ie the walls of the ship would be behind him:
