@ TV's Frink, lol, now I wish I meant "Dido". You have a good eye in more areas than one ;)

@ Bester, I'm not expecting, but I'm all for it if Ady wanted to show off something at post.. er page 1138.

@ oh_riginal, I completely agree, I think the ESB lightsaber sounds are excellent as is, but could use some extra "oomph" as you say like in the PT, especially in closeups. Then this could be the "template" for how lightsabers should sound for the rest of the saga.

ROTJ I felt they sounded a little too "sparky/static-y" (bass would help), like at times when Luke's lightsaber is locked with Vader's. Maybe there could be some PT/ESB sounds here and there too, otherwise these sounds are great as well. And I agree, overall it has less "oomph" than even ESB.

ANH, being the oldest, was always the weakest in sound quality to me. They improved the sounds during Vader vs Obi-Wan for the dvd, but whenever we see Luke wielding his, it still sounds very flat imo.

As for the PT, again I agree. I think if some good OT/ESB sounds were added here and there, and the bass levels were consistent across the board with the OT, I think this would be a good step in the right direction :)
