maybe not, but if not for them, there would be no Trek today. Old ST fans kept Trek alive between the end TOS and the first movie. Without them, Trek would have been a long forgotten and J.J. would have nothing to remake.

again this idea that I was arguing that we should withhold money from Star Trek due to Pegg's comments. That is not what I arguing at all. I am merely arguing that Pegg should treat the people that actually pay him with more respect. When I pay the amount it costs for ticket today, I have every right to sound off if I don't like the movie I watched.
