Big Mark Millar fan since the days when he wrote for 2000AD. Kick-Ass comic was great but I was disapointed with the sequel. Too many characters introduced that don't go anywhere (Seems to be common critiscm of the film). Haven't gor round to redaing Hit-Girl spin off yet.

His best book is 'Red Son' IMO. What if Superman's pod had landed in a communist workers collective farm in Russia instead of America? Incredible stuff.

His two 'What if supervillians were real?' books 'Nemesis' and 'Wanted' are great. But not for the feint hearted or easily shocked, these villains are realistic remember.

'Superior' is fantastic. A wheelchair bound Kid with multiple sclerosis is given a wish by a monkey from space. He chooses to be a Superhero but all isn't as it seems.

Personnaly I'm turned off by all the hundreds of characters in the Marvel multiverse thing. But his 'Civil War' comic was actually really good despite featuring every superhero in the galaxy. Basically examines a post 911 world through the Marvel Prism.
