Better yet, have Pac Man chasing some ghosts in the hologram? ;)

Random thought. Maybe that chair Palpatine is locked into is actually a Vogon poetry appreciation chair?

I think there needs a teensy bit more reverb on the Vogon voice all the way through.

Yeah, I noticed that.  It certainly needs to be more consistent.

Not sure if that would work but I like the idea.

If you could delay Anakin and Obi Wan's entrance, we hear just a verse or two (and some cries of agony) as Palpatine's chair is still facing away from the camera?

Maybe this could get an airing when we see the wookies in battle and get a reprise during the Ewok battle.

Dunno if it's possible but it might be fun if Padme told Anakin that Obi-Wan had "said terrible jokes" to her (not very 'regal' grammatically but possibly doable).

Well that gives me the idea to replace "things" with all sorts of....things.

"What fish?"

Luke confronted Vader and lost a hand.  Han was frozen in a block of something or other.  C3PO was strapped to a walking carpet.  Boba Fett was cool.  Lando betrayed everyone but it's better than it sounds.  Leia found true love with someone other than her brother.

Confused?  You won't be, after this episode of...

AS THE DEATH STAR TURNS

Dropping this crawl idea here so I don't forget it (again).

JEDIT: Carp, wrong thread.

Have you gotten to this scene yet?

Besides the Star Trek sickbay sounds I've mentioned before, perhaps Mr. Garcia can do something ridiculous to the holographic display?

Heart Status:Broken

"Medical Insurance Remaining" gauge that is going down rapidly. Etc...

And coming across this BTS photo gives me an evil idea. ;)

You could put a facehugger on her in one shot, the medical scanner footage from Alien 3 a bit later.

She is also positioned in much the same way as the chestburster sequence from the first AVP film leading to the obvious punchline.

I haven't had time to work on this in quite a while, unfortunately.  I've been going chronological for the most part and haven't progressed past the hanger scene.

Muddyknees just inspired me to suggest that instead of 'Squidlake' Palpatine and Anakin could be watching a certain unimpressed Olympian receiving her medal (maybe to the ANH medal ceremony music).

Not bad, but I think the scene of the Jedi coming to arrest Palps is better.

The Carol Burnett one is possible.

But how many times do you think I'm going to do it for ROTR? :p

When Obi Wan configures the secret transmitter thingy to warn any surviving Jedi to stay the heck away from Coruscant...

Song that is the lure:(Because I can't think of another song that has "come back" in the lyrics right now.)

Song that is the warning:

Or just a loop of Monty Python's "run away!"?

I have an alternate idea that goes along with this particular scene, using audio from Mars Attacks.

“Lifes a song you don’t get to rehearse, and every single verse can make it that much worse”

That could work too. :)

The theme from Mars Attacks might also be good for the Jedi slaughter.

I'd plumb for an epic and hyper emotional Rock song like...

Queen - No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)

or

Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever

...for the Jedi massacre.

And this would work beautifully to soundtrack Anakin's feelings about Padme...

Queen - Love of my life (Rock Montreal 1981)

^ Plus it's generally 4 of the best minutes ever recorded
