Gee whiz, this one is really taking a long time (assuming I understand correctly and it isn't done yet)! I thought it was supposed to be released in April of last year...

What's taking so long? The first one was awesome, and I really want to see this one and ROTJ:R.

There were a number of personal setbacks.  It is now scheduled for the last quarter of 2013.

I hope you don't mind waiting a while for the next one, as Adywan will be working on RotJ:R, ANH: R HD, and all the prequels at the same time.  But, assuming what he has planned is viable, it should be worth the wait  :)

The most important one on that list is ROTJ....

And I hope more resources are focused on completing the OT Revisited rather than the PT Revisited... But that statement actually did concern me... It made me go over the prequeal trilogy to see what was there in terms of trying to make them actually good films but I came away feeling defeated and that the whole prequeal trilogy actually needed to be redone and overwritten... My conclusion was to try to tell one good story in one film perhaps just over the 2 hour mark...

There is little in these PT films in comparison to the OT story worth telling.... Where the hangup is is that the prequal must also be a trilogy because the original films were a trilogy. This was where it failed and jumping too far into the future with characters that were not nearly developed enough in the first film.

I stamped it unsalvageable... Even every PT edit I have seen is still no good and nothing to do with peoples editing skills because the films are no good. Sorry I don't hate them they are just never going to reach the same standards of the OT because of the acting is of a very low caliber.

Unless you replace the acting i.e. most of the main characters It is not going to improve in any way drastically no matter how many special effects you throw at it.

And no discredit to the actors which are good actors it was the circumstances in which they had to act that prevented good performances coming through... Take Natalie Portmans performance in Black Swan.... She is a great actress... Ewan Mcgreggor in trainspotting... Great actor... Put these great actors perforiming with only a green or blue background with no sense of the world they ate in plus a director with complete creative control who has lost his original vision on the franchise he created was then... you seen the result....
