The Great Gatsby. Good flavour (sic) but felt a bit flat in the middle. I felt I enjoyed the story when it was following Nick but at times when he's on the sidelines I began to lose interest.

3 Balls.

GI Joe 2. What is up with the Rock? he is freaking huge. he is literally twice the man he used to be.

Joss Whedon should have put him in a Ruffalo wig and cast him as the Hulk. That said, I feel like his acting has improved a great deal over the years.

mindless fun. 2 balls.

The Host. Great style, very little story. I'm not surprised given the source (author of twilight) but it felt like it had real potential at the start. A bit of a shame. Waste of a great cast.

1 ball.

10 Years. It wasn't a bad movie but I was expecting something very different. The trailer paints it as a slapstick type comedy when really it is more of a romantic dramedy.

It's an ensemble film about a 10 year high school reunion. It's something that a lot of people can relate to, and there are characteristics we all probably recognize but I feel like it would have been better served if the focus was shifted more towards two characters who spend most of the film on the sidelines, only to take centre stage towards the end.

2 balls ( could have been better with different editing)

I WAS planning to go see The World's End but it would appear that it's finished it's run at my local (I hate Village / Roadshow). It may still be on at my nextmnearest cinema but that's a 45 minute drive away. Might have to get the boys together for a road trip..
