I would like to not use a 720p source... as it's quite surely not the original HDTV file - it should be 1080i...

canal+ = 1080i, 25fps, avc with approx 15mbps
wowow = 1080i, 29,97fps with pulldown flag, mpeg2 with approx 20mpbs
what about SKYHD or HDNET? do they exist?

There are some HDTV versions with channel logo throughout, and some don't have them!
The 720p source I pointed out doesn't have a logo!
Besides, how do you work with an HD file while editing? I'm sure it not only takes up lots of HDD space, but increases the rendering time sky-high! What is the configuration of your PC Andrea?
Papai, is there are 1080i HDTV proper version without logo?
You can see my PC configuration in the first post; when working with HD files, it's easy to use about 200-300GB of HD space, plus the video conversion took often a day or two!

Here you go-
http://kickass.to/jurassic-park-1993-1080p-hdtv-dts-x264-ctrlhd-t1858867.html
But it has very little seeds. (1 seed, 1 Peer)
So, see if it works.
Otherwise you can use this better seeded 720p torrent, its not bad as you may think! Its actually good quality!-

To make a good job, the original 1080i MPEG2 (and not 1080p X264) should be used; maybe the 720p is good *enough* to be watched, but not enough to work on it...

Why don't you try with a small clip and see. Just for test.
