Cool.  There's a wish list there too for anyone who wants to contribute to the cause. ;-)

I've thought this song was almost perfect for Sid Sidious. ;)

You know, I've been thinking of what music to use for the Order 66 sequence, and that song would work really well.

I think someone suggested having Order 66 to be to blow up more stuff, but I think it would be fun to throw in some other things.  For instance, Palps could say "execute order 66" on the radio, and Michael Palin drops the safe on the dog in Fish Called Wanda.

It could also work for Palpy really swaying Anakin after revealing himself?

Order 66 could open the door to more Holy Grail bits. Sir Lancelot's lengthy charge into Swamp Castle, or the final assault at the end of the film?

Another One Bites The Dust could work for all the Jedi slaughter, with the final note ending on Yoda lopping off heads?

There are two scenes in which Palpatine could be watching a movie, so I vote that you use two different movies, or Episode III the first time and Episode VI the second time.

Lol, the movie could cut out right before Vader decides to take Palps out in ROTJ.

Add the animated buffering ring from youtube. Palpatine has a bad connection. :D

In the office when he quickly switches off the DS plans, how about he's actually watching the bit in Pulp Fiction where Jules and Vincent enter the apartment.

Almost like that's how he knows Sam Jackson has come meaning business.

Or Mace could catch him watching this Portman scene...

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

This is a fantastic idea.  I hope you're reading this, Bob!

Wouldn't a Samuel L Jackson movie where he's bald make slightly more sense? ;)

I don't think the argument "Wouldn't... make slightly more sense?" is fully applicable to a FanEdit with 'Ridiculousness' in the title lol

What would happen if Palpatine can't find the right button to switch the DS plans off? All sorts of funny and embarrassing stuff. He could just leave it on after several attempts to turn it off.

Yeah! It could keep going in the background during the entire lighsaber fight.

I think Palpatine should execute order 66, and then something funny happens. The he says something like "I've always wanted to do that." Then he executes the real order.

Hmm, maybe when he says execute order 66, a clone responds saying "sending a Big Mac over there right now," or something along those lines.

I think that's an excelent idea.

Anyway, hey Frink, do you have any plans to use Mike Stoklasa's voice as Palpatine?

"Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes."

In the original, as Anakin and Dooku are squaring off, there's some really awkward dialogue. Something like, "My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count." "Good! Twice the pride, double the fall."

I recommend replacing with Monkey Island insults: "You fight like a dairy farmer." "How appropriate; you fight like a cow!" (Link)

Hey, man, I just come up with ideas. The how is your job!

In all seriousness, those don't have to be the exact lines, I'm just suggesting a general idea. I'm sure, if you're interested of course, you could find Tommy and/or Palpatine lines that would work in that manner. I would do it but it seems like getting a text version of dialogue from movies is something of a hassle.

v2 of the explosion montage:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OunpliDRC0

Changes include:
-moved Richter sub for R2 to later (thanks Rogue-theX) and used a different sub for right before he attacks
-removed all of the NASA blow up the moon clips except the actual explosion shot
-used a different section of the song to fit the new video sequence (FIGHT!)
-extended the Prometheus shots of the ship falling and Shaw's reaction (necessary to fit the music)
-used a different view out Anakin's cockpit as the song ends to match the doors starting to close in the next shot

I merely thought a clip from Shaft could work, as it was Mace's theme song in AOTR, and there's always Snakes on a Plane. :)

Either movie could work in the opera scene.

It flows much better now. :)

The Star Trek 2009 decompression shot would fit in really well with the Reliant taking damage.

You could have Mace come in when Palpatine is watching Episode VI, just before Luke refuses to join him. Then the rest of the movie could play out during the sabre fight.

Changes:
-Replaced original ROTS audio with laser and explosion sound effects to remove music bleeding through
-By popular demand, restored David pointing
-Recut Blues Brothers sequence:
---Added beeping sound for targeting
---Reversed Anakin footage so he looks over at the sound
---Removed Jake and Elwood walking, and shortened shot of Jake in the targeting scope
---Removed the second door explosion shot (fixed a jump cut I didn't notice before)
-Replaced beginning Ghostbusters audio with explosion sound effects to remove yells and music bleed through
-De-capitalized "Shootin'" just for Ripplin. ;-)
