Cool, thanks! That seems easier than what I did with Ghost Olie, which was to load into Audacity, add reverb, then have to output and load back into Vegas.

To think I used to do that sort of thing on videotape by staggering the audio tracks by a split second or so. I only had two channels to work with, so adding music would have entailed rerecording the echo to another tape, and dubbing it back to the master on one channel.

Listening to both versions, the end of Anakin's second "hear you" sounds like it cuts out early, or Padme's line steps on it.

There isn't enough footage of Anakin without his mouth moving for the whole line, so I tried to make it seem like he's being interrupted by her next thought.

Not sure if there'd be any interest in the idea, but since "Friday" was reprised with a different version in the 2nd Ridiculous movie, maybe reprising "Sandman" with a new version for when Obi Wan delivers Luke to the Lars homestead could be used? Here's the remake of that song, though it might not fit the tone of the edit.

If I had a little more footage to work with, and a little more of a downer on Penny's part of the song, I could make this closer to the perfect version that is in my head. Certainly I'd like to time the cuts a little better to the music, and I also wish I had a side shot of Anakin walking up to the balcony to match Padme's shot. But I did what I could with what I had to work with.
