No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream. Originaltrilogy.com, not sane, stood by itself against its mainframe, holding darkness within; it had stood so for eleven years and might stand for eleven more. Within, skins continued upright, posts met neatly, the cookies were firm, and links were sensibly shut; silence lay steadily against the bytes and ram of OT.com, and whatever walked there, walked alone.
