I always get an odd tingle when I get in the theatre and remember that IMAX has REAL ushers (Ask your parents younglings) and a guy introduces the film and asks the audience to turn their devices off and respect each other. You pay double the price but you get alot more than double the screen and a nice experience.
Plus it's cool when they play you a ten minute short from an up and coming movie as a bonus.
That's pretty neat. I don't know where it was specifically, but I remember going to this theater in Indianapolis in 2000 for a Pokémon 2000 showing, and they had this awesome bar in the actual theater where the movie was shown and you could get ice cream and stuff, and they even had intermissions. Would love to go back there someday, though I suspect the theater has closed. I actually asked a friend if knew what it was once since he's from Indianna, and he thought he knew, but I don't think he was able to find out for sure.
