Idea & Help Wanted: 'The Great Escape' (1963) - Original Mono Preservation

i want to start a preservation of the original mono mix the great escape, because this mix not included on the blu-ray. for this project i have the old u.s. dvd which contains the mono mix in dolby audio. but a full preservation would could only be achieved by using the uncompressed audio, which can be found on the criterion laserdisc.

so anyone can help me getting the laserdisc audio, this would be very much appreciated.

Oh is this going to accompany dvdmike's project? That'd be a perfect fix: video and audio. The commercial BD does leave a lot to be desired.

i wasn't aware of dvdmike's project. for me i'm mostly interested in preserving the original audio. but his project sounds pretty good :)

I can try and sync it but getting the encode down and preserving quality is a bitch right now
