I'd like to make clear, though, that the list is not in the order that I rate the films as art; it's in the order in which I am interested in preservations, which is not quite the same thing. I can put up with the Sleeping Beauty BD more readily than the Cinderella one, partly because it's still a treat to see it in 2.55:1. Snow White is at the end because I like it but not as much as the others. Bambi and Peter Pan are not on the list because I am under the impression that, while their releases have some issues, they did not suffer quite as badly as the others, so I'm not keen to share the costs of prints of those.
