violation of freedom of religion. I have no problem with requiring all citizens to learn English and learn the history of the country, but the government has no right to say what is and isn't to be taught in a house of worship.

Violation of freedom of religion. What is the big deal about the Burkas? Why do people want to keep interfering with ability of people to practice their religion? What would we say to any country to banned nuns from dressing as nuns? or banned Jews from wearing yamakas. I occasionally wear a cross pin I got as a child.
