Well, I did rent it. Only so so, at best. As hot as she is, the best part of the movie was actually Timothy Olyphant as the porn producer who becomes friends with Matt. The rest of the movie was kinda lacking. Pretty formulaic, cliched, etc.

Sorry, Jimbo. Just my opinion.

i was thinkin of renting this a couple days ago with my gf.... but when the guy told me at the counter is kinda a chick flick i put it back on the shelf...

No, not a chick flick. It's a raunchy sex comedy like American Pie, just not done nearly as well.

I personally thought it was far better then American Pie. None of the characters in American Pie are really enjoyable. Id say my favorite male character in The Girl Next Door was Eli. What makes him so funny is just how he is a total porn freak who in the end is really all talk. I can name a few kids like him. Its also hilarious how he always says the wrong thing "Take her to a hotel room and bang her like a beast". Its definutly not a chick flick. It surprised me because I was expecting a movie like American Pie with Elisha Cuthbert. I was blown away at just how funny and well written that movie is. Id say no movie has ever shown what high school life is really like as realisticly as The Girl Next Door while putting characters through unrealistic situations. Elisha Cuthbert alone makes it worth seeing. Its fantastic script, comedy, and acting make it worth loving. Elisha Cuthbert doesn't go fully nude though. Probably my only complaint in what otherwise is a masterpeice.

Looks like what happened to John Kerry's daughter when she was going to some awards show for the indie film she worked on. Opaque dress regularly, but when exposed to flashbulb light, it appears mostly translucent. Heck, it almost looks like the same dress.

Just checked out Kerry's dress on Snopes.com. Not the same dress but pretty similar. Alexandra Kerry X-posed.
