I understand and appreciate your point. As Yoda explained the force in ESB it would make sense. Anyone, with the correct training and guidance could tap into its powers because it surrounds everything. But i see the Jedi (and Sith) as an exclusive club. Beings that are naturally force sensitive who, above all others, are able to fully utilise the power of it. Why they are more sensitive than any other? Well that's the mystery of the force and something that doesn't need to be explained.
