^ Lucas has wound up all of us fans for so long that everyone has basically drawn battle lines and no release Disney could ever put together would satisfy everybody now.

If a DVD/BR with more-or-less the original OT on them had come out in 2004 etc, most would've been quite content. Now everyone has been forced to decide what they want a future BR to include or not include. Personnaly I want the OT released in a clean and error free version, like a pure-purist Revisted akin to the Final-Cut of Blade Runner. Everything basically unaltered (Minus ILM guy for example) but IMHO removing the 'A New Hope' crawl is a f**king retarded idea.

Problem is...

1. A large number of fans want every little detail put back the way it was on the day of release when a couple of versions (Tiny audio diffferences taken into account) exist even for that.

2. A large number of fans want all the old FX shots replaced with the jazzed up SE ones.

3. A large number of fans want something inbetween like myself.

NO FANS are gonna thank Disney whatever they do, except...

**Drum roll**... The vast majority of the public who couldn't give a sh*t how the films look and will be quite happy with whatever Disney serves up.
