The way I always saw it was that we were catching only the tail end of the conversation.

Or maybe Vader has been on there the whole time, just staring at Veers silently, tapping his foot. ;-)

This is entirely unnecessary, I admit, but if one were to attempt to make the conversation feel more "closed" then maybe just adding in the sound effect of a hologram fading out could be added.

It could work if the General responded to an inpatient 'transmissiony' sounding, "Veers?".

It's not gilding the lily but it's slightly varnishing the violet.

Now i also won't be cutting any of 3PO's lines in ESB:R. In fact i'm hoping to reinstate the original full line "I'm not ready to die..on the back of a demented Wookie" that was omitted from the 35mm & home video releases. It cuts off horribly the way it is now and sounds unnatural.

This one blew my mind I distinctly remember this!!! I hope it get's re-integrated... Wow Just Wow... Sorry was having a dig about in the past but I hope this can be done?

I found the discussion on this one earlier..

Of an omitted scene... Now the weird thing is... I seem to remember this ... IMDB states it is from canadian 1997 theatrical release "special edition"... Adywan said it was never in the theatrical release and I am not doubting that but why does it ring bells?

Was this in the Theatrical TV cut? 4:3 I am sure after watching Empire strikes back for about 4 or 5 years running on Christmas TV this was where I saw it... I know this image I'm sure it's from the theatrical TV cut at least that is what my brain is telling me.

There is no evidence of the shot you speak of, & we've pretty much scoured all of the possible versions.

Actually I remember seeing that shot once too, it's weird though i'm not sure where it is from either.

The pictured shot is from all versions of ESB. There were no shots added to the 97 SE that were removed for the 04 DVD or 11 BD.

It's in there I just checked... No wonder I remember it lol...

It's a hoax that IMDB page....

Anyway K3-PO deserves some love I guess...

I Never thought Luke missed!

It's all great documentry subject material....

Just a thought about K3-PO... Would he look better and more unlike C3-PO if his eyes were less yellow and more orange?

There seems to be a thing about him having darker eyes or more red eyes... so It's not really my suggestion but I picked up on it... Fans of the character may like this though

*Edit*

Perhaps they won't it had something to do with a K3-PO lego miniature that had red eyes so my bad but I do think he looks better with darker eyes

And  about those light pens on telephone chords... It would be nice to have Green / yellow blips where they tap the map perhaps...

I am sure you have already thought of this going by the displays in the ion cannon video.

I remember having the Topps bubble gum card of this shot... and there was another card that showed him & C-3PO together.

You must mean this one. It's included on Star Wars: Behind The Magic.

Ady,

Your new Avatar made me think of this:

Ah, I see. I've never seen that one before. It would be nice to see K-3PO have his own scene. Well, when I say "scene" I don't mean to add in a pointless few seconds of the droid. I mean to see K-3PO walking around Echo Base doing stuff with a little dialogue here and there. Not loud dialogue, but just some extra background noise to give Echo Base an even bigger atmosphere. Know what I mean?

Now that I think about it, the snowspeeders should be slightly changed. The change goes with the windows. On the inside, the light passing through the windows is too light. The windows are darker. So shouldn't the inside cockpit shots be darker that the original release?

I hate to be the one to point out errors.  It often bugs me when others do so, particularly when the problems are terribly trivial, but I don't think anyone else caught this one, and I don't think it's as trivial as some.  In your most recent video, Adywan, your more animated probe droid is great.  However, his arms are bent so the joints are outward and the 'hands' are more central, while in the original the joints are turned inward with the 'hands' outward.  After Han shoots the first time and ducks, the camera quickly cuts back to the probe droids, and in your version, the appendages are exactly as the original's.  While we see some movement of its appendages just before that, there is no way they could have moved so suddenly to that position in that brief split second.  I'll post pics later.

I pointed this out earlier elsewhere (with similar apologies for being "That Guy"), Ady replied:

"well the probe is spinning around to fire at Han so the legs will look a little different (well that's my excuse anyway)."

Oh, thanks for letting me know. :)

Still feel free to post some screen caps too.  It would be interesting to see some comparisons.

Alright, I shall oblige.  To me, for all Ady's perfectionism for the things I never noticed, this one stands out a bit.  It just doesn't look right.  The original shot looks like an acceptable rotation, but the modified shot does not.  Clearly the position of each leg is drastically different, and if you look at the timer, only one second has elapsed between the shots.  But I hate to ask him to put in even a little more work when he's already been so generous.  I just wanted to make him aware, which he apparently already was.

Its all about finding the balance. I never noticed the half dozen things that were wrong before he fixed that scene. Now that I've seen the debris, weather changes, antennae movement, sudden stop at the end of the rail, and whatever else, I think this is a fair trade. ;-)
