I wonder why no Vader helmet T-shirts seem to exist.
I've been crazy busy with a house sell\buy\move the past few months, so I've only been lurking in case things got ugly. That's all winding down and I'm settling into the new digs. I'll be back up to speed soon.
That said; I thought I'd take a moment to mention a nerd co-worker of mine. I took this pic a few days ago (casual Friday). This is a woman whom I work very closely with every day. We office next to each other also.
I don't have to tell you what a distraction that can be. Her physical beauty is matched only by her intelligence. She's a multi-degreed professional, who will probably be running our division one day.
We discuss all things sci-fi nerdy, but even this outfit caught me off-guard. There were maybe three people on our entire floor who even caught it. She was hiding in plain sight.
It's not just a fun shirt for her either. This woman really knows her science fiction. Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who - you name it, she knows it well. In fact, she's been my mentor into the world of Doctor Who. Look out Bingo, won't be long and I'll be able to jump into your discussions about the show. I started with the 9th Doctor, by the way.
Anyway, thought you folks would appreciate her brazen nerdiness in a corporate environment. Oh, and for the record; away from work she's also a close personal friend, so keep it clean(ish). ;-)
Neat. Artoo's body details are abstract enough in that context to go unnoticed by the uninitiated.
Also nice to see someone who breaks the fan stereotype too. :)
Where were you in '77?

Lucky you to discover a pleasant human to interact with, they are vanishingly rare.
Blame it on the plastic daffodils.
I look forward to talking about all things Whom (Bingo waves at humanity for a moment).
She looks like someone famous but I can't quite put my finger on it. Jeff's wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm?
Anchorhead, be careful about getting too close to a coworker, especially one you think might be running your division someday and therefore might become your boss. It could make for a very difficult situation, especially if things go romantic between the two of you.
I like her hair.

Yeah there's some resemblance there.
And Warbler, what a reply.

?
I think he's implying that you're being too forward.
Warbler, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Not only would it make things stressful in the office, her husband and my wife would both have a problem with it as well.
Do they have hair?

oops!!!! I didn't realize you were married. Maybe you've said it on here and I just forgot. I meant no offense. Sorry also if I was being too forward.
