For a non fantasy film, in terms of spirit and adventure I'd go for 'Midnight Run' its action packed, fast paced, funny and has some drama woven in there too.

Never even heard of 'Midnight Run' will have to check it out.

It's got Yaphet Kotto in it, I'm sold!

It's a terrific film and very entertaining. The same director previously did Beverley Hills Cop. It's just got that free spirited adventure feel that doesn't take itself too seriously that Star Wars had. For me anyway.
