Parent topic: What single (Non-SW) movie from the last 30 odd years has come closest to the spirit of Star Wars?... and why?

For a non fantasy film, in terms of spirit and adventure I'd go for 'Midnight Run' its action packed, fast paced, funny and has some drama woven in there too.
