Alright, I think too many newbies are reading this thread and think I'm serious. Explaining a joke usually ruins the humor, but I'd rather ruin the joke than continue to make so many people think I'm a big party pooper.

This site is wonderful. It's mission is noble. It's patrons are fantastic people for the most part. But if there's one thing so many are good at, it's complaining about every new thing that comes out of Star Wars. Disney buys the franchise, announces a Sequel Trilogy, cancels The Clone Wars in favor of a more OT-style series, etc., and it seems like every third comment in every announcement thread is someone complaining about how it will suck for this reason or that. Come on, lighten up people. You don't have to like it. You don't have to like anything but the OT, or even just ANH and ESB. But I for one actually derive some (though not as much as I'd originally hoped) enjoyment from the PT. I enjoy some EU. I enjoy TCW. I am hopeful about the future of the franchise. This thread is a very sarcastic plea. Star Wars may yet show some greatness. "Come on, let's keep a little optimism."
