That's actually a very good point. It's not like Lucas has ever embellished (or been completely full of shit about) what his "original intentions" were so I'm sure this is completely trustworthy.CP3S said:
If they really tried, I am sure they could make a decent future Star Wars storyline that isn't about just "some kid" or a "CW pretty boy". Everybody seems fine with the CW pretty boys of the new Star Trek. And introducing a new young cast worked great for Battlestar Galactica, even if they did give some of them the names of characters from the original show. If George is to be believed, his intention for VII - IX was to pass the torch as far back as when The Empire Strikes Back was made.
