What how where when?? Did you manage to find the theatrical discs or extract the LD audio? This is exciting news, I've long wondered how the original tracks compared to their Dolby and remixed counterparts.

I just noticed that many on the first page are listed as found. Wow, this is really taking off.

Theatrical discs.  I have been lucky and thankful to have found the discs I have even though they don't usually come free.

Agreed.  I will hold off on decoding the audio until things get finalized.

And looking at the BD a Great Escape one also!

Well I am not going to start a thread until I actually have what is needed, why start one if things end up getting messed up and we do not get the files we want to use? I would love to get the DTS tracks, Mikes video file, and a bit perfect LD rip of the PCM audio, then I would start a thread, but I personally won't start one until I know for sure it is a go.

I didn't want to just assume anything considering you've said you and your team are rather busy with all the things you're working already.

This is Arnold lol, why not toss it in with both Terminators! that is how I look at it lol. he is my childhood idol lol, I actually met him back in my bodybuilding days and got a polaroid with him, You_Too was actually able to take it and really clean it up so I could get a very nice 8x10 out of it, so I surely can make room for another Arnold film, plus this movie ROCKS!

I'm very happy to see the True Lies project move forward.  I'm sure it will be winner with everyone that is waiting for it.

So you found the Cinema DTS CD's for all 3 Nolan Batman movies? now I would love to get those if at all possible, I really want to hear the difference between the 3, it might be a while before I synch them but I would not mind getting them if you want to share.

Wonder if apollo 13 has the height info that can be extracted from the bd track.

World is not enough is only the second DTS ES disc we have after TPM right?

Great job finding all of these, yeah where do you find them all?

I am finding them through collector's.  Folks who used to be projectionists or still are at various places.  It is not an easy task and I've been quite lucky so far.  A good number of them have come at a price but it won't be passed along to folks here.

Yes, there are only 2 DTS-ES titles in the list so far.  TPM & TWINE.

I am keeping my fingers crossed as well.  Those 2 seem to be quite elusive at this point but I will keep trying.  One never knows.

I will be moving at the end of this month so I don't know how much time I will have to get most stuff out.  I will have a far better internet connection once I move so that will help greatly.  The other thing that can be difficult is finding a few folks who can and have the time to edit the reels together and synch them to video.  I am still a newb at it and won't be proficient for a good while.  If we can score some time here and there from folks who can it would certainly be a bonus for all of us.

Do all of the CD's generally have the same sort of labels? I've only seen the Star Wars SE discs in person, and a couple of the others on Ebay.

I already HAVE The Shadow ....... ;)  And yes, all the theater DTS discs have the same look .....  :)

I found this interesting.  Talks about DTS 6.1 Discrete (ES) and such.  I don't know if it would be applicable to some of the stuff we might have in ES.
