The "old" George had no money anyway; once you have a billion dollars, you can ignore anyone.
And I don't even hate ROTJ, I just have to bash it because it is the popular thing to do (Dark Knight Rises for example), and doesn't have enough redeeming qualities to not be bashed by people who love ANH/ESB.
