Speaking of Pulp Fiction...

I also stumbled across some things I never thought to hear Christopher Lee say!

OMG!!! I can totally see Count Dooku saying the first Christer Lee video in the lightsaber duel. Instead of Dooku saying "you control your fear. Release anger" line, he says "Step to the left, step to the right."

You are not the first to suggest using Pulp Fiction.

I can only imagine there might be a lot more than assumed!

Anyway, after almost a whole day of trying to download this (blocked) video from my old youtube account, here is finally the scene I edited a few years back that might have some ideas salvageable for ROTR in regards to the Windu VS Palpatine duel! Enjoy.

http://vimeo.com/65487800

A thought I had as I watched it again, there could be a "Reservoir Dogs" moment as they walk through the door into Palpatine's office, playing "Little Green Bag" by the George Baker Selection, and each Jedi could have their name pop up over them like opening credits, making it seem as if they are important characters...

Only to all get killed by Palpatine in under 10 seconds, aside from Windu!

Hey Frink,

Uploadd this video I made a while back while editing AOTC:

http://vimeo.com/65479913

Thought it might appeal to your sense of SW humour. I used to have it on YouTube but they made me take it down.

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Thanks but I'm sure I can pull them from my DVD of either Khan or First Contact.

Didn't I send you the sound of a phaser ages ago for TRM?? Or am I imagining it?

If not you can download the sound here

http://www.trekcore.com/audio/

Just right click and choose 'save link as' on the TOS phaser sound. :D

I can't remember if I used yours or one I pulled from my DVD, but I'm good either way.

I have the TOS sound FX CD with a variety of Phasers if you need it.

And don't forget about TOS sickbay sounds for Padme's death scene. ;)

Some good ideas in that video.  I like the credits idea as well.

While we're on the topic of Star Wars and Pulp Fiction, you guys might enjoy this ESB edit that has just been released:

I understand that. However, the instrumental for Super Heroes fits Anakin's cookout scene so well! ;)

Maybe just lift the audio from Reservoir Dogs altogether, complete with Steven Wright's radio DJ on Anakin's speeder radio as he lifts off to catch up to Windu and co.

Edit: I made an attempt at showing the basic idea.

When Obi Wan accesses the Jedi Temple security holograms, something random or inappropriate could appear?

You want a spoof of that scene, a spoof you shall get!

Felt inspired, I've uploaded it to Vimeo. Click the image to play...

Well, that was painful...I'll admit I laughed, but I don't think I want to see it in the edit.

Yes probably wise, nobody should have to watch 'Star Wars: Kinect' more than once... or ever.

Save it for the Special Editions, if we can persuade Frink to tackle them in the future. ;)

Nice find! I knew he was in this, but wasn't sure if he would sound like Palpatine in his non Star Wars roles.

This is how the security hologram scene should go. Yoda says his "pain is what you find" speech, Obi-Wan says "I must know", then he turns of the hologram and we hear the 2-girls-1-cup-music. We see Ob-Wan look at it and he says his "i can't be" and "i've seen enough" lines and then he turns it off. Just be sure to no show any of the porno footage.

hey, it's gross but funny when you think how it would turn out in the end.
