I don't think a single Dune thread would do, you really need half a dozen of them, at least, to get the feeling right.
And by 'Dune thread' are we talking about Frank Herbert Dune, David Lynch Dune, TV show Dune, Video Game Dune, etc; or all of the above?
Maybe just regular ol' sand dunes. Gay ones.
