He read the treatments at least before jedi while working on his book, which was published in '84, i believe. But according to a recent article, he still believes that what he read will be the basis for the new trilogy.

But I don't know anything about Pollack. He may not know what he's talking about, and those treatments could be completely obsolete now. If anyone here knows Michael Arndt, just give him a call and get back to us. :)
