Crap. I went to the Paramount Japan site and it said that A Better Tomorrow I was from a fresh film scan. Either they are lying or they think a 1080p BD from a 4k scan is the same thing as an upscaled DVD :(
Well, at least one of the Woo movies is in HD so that's at least something to celebrate....
