My point was that with Ady's changes, which are mainly about visual improvement and adding more realism to the visuals, the story and characters stay the same just as they would with added reflections, so the story and characters being the important thing isn't really a valid argument against tastefully done reflections in this case, because it would be very much in spirit of changes like re-rotoscoping all the laser bolts or adding more asteroids to the asteroid field.
