hey all. I was just curious if anyone knew where to download the DVD for the 97 Special Edition. With the new DVDs being an updated version, I would like to have the 97SE preserved on disc too. Anyone know where I could find it?

TR47,

Is there any way to fix the 4 second pause glitch in your version of Empire? Is that something planned for the future. I will say it is better like that than to not have the footage at all.

I'll post them as torrents around the time of the Offical DVD's ~ Just so we can all also have the original SE on DVDr

FYI -

I will be posting the LOOK DVD5 - The DTS version - BUT Just so EVERYONE knows the DTS is BAD I mean VERY B-A-D

The Dolby Digital is fair not nearly as good as TR47's PCM (Again Dude your audio is the SHIZNIT!)

SO - I'll have them up as torrents around the 18th or so!

is all the audio bad, or is it just the dts? are there multiple audio tracks or something?

JUST the DTS is affected the audio is fine otherwise - Hey TR47 you know a grip on theses DVD - Would you agree that the Audio is good on the Dolby Digital - meaning no delays?

I sure there are no delays in audio but the DTS is riddled with errors + it out of sync

The DTS is terrible and obviously fake.. the DD 5.1 track is the same one lifted from the LD set, although it isn't that great. From what I understand, the rear and front channels are switched on TESB on the 5 star sets (audio mistake), but I am not 100% sure about the "D5 DTS" set.

That's funny, because there are a lot of sites showing how to make good DTS 5.1 recordings of existing stereo songs. I wonder if this person tried to make it from the PCM soundtrack or from the DD soundtrack.

General Gravos where do i get that Reivax Star Wars SE Bootleg.

Also we should make a new thread listing the best versions of Star Wars OT and SE bootlegs right now i am confused as there are soo many versions out. I’ve got the "TR47 OT" set "The Anamorphic Widescreen OT" set, Ive got The "Five Star SE" set i am getting the "LOOK SE" set. but... now there is a new Anamorphic set and NOW a new SE set, I am soooo lost right now to which are the best versions

I just downloaded the Farsight rip of RotJ but I can't seem to get it to work.

Does it need to be burned to play, or can you play it right off your hard drive?

I also have the other anamorphic LD rip of A New Hope and it runs fine in Power DVD right from the .ifo files, but no dice with the Farsight version of Jedi.

Anyone know what's up?

Most players do allow you to play from a file. What player do you use? Try putting the files in a directory called "VIDEO_TS" and see if that makes a difference.

I should imagine that if you just drop all the files into a folder called "video_ts" that you should have no problem playing it on power dvd. I burned it without any trouble.
