I think only a handful of people on the board have the equipment to do something like that. I have an ep 3 trailer that I've thought about scanning frame by frame on my flatbed to see what kind of quality I can achieve (it does 4800dpi resolution) but it would be a huge and long project, I just haven't been motivated to take it on.

We have good people working on big projects at the moment. I'm totally cool with that. It's just hard when you offer stuff up that could help and it just goes un-noticed due to the bigger projects going on. I'm still sad my cinema DTS audio project effort has all but stalled half-way through. I've gotten support from a small group and that is far better than none but I'd really like to get the audio put together completely for everyone to use and I'm not able to do that due to my limited knowledge of multichannel audio editing & synching to video.

I'm glad people are obviously making use of what's been provided by other members for the bigger projects, maybe when those projects are finished I can get some tutorial advice so I can go on alone. The main thing is, the small groups do help the larger cause and it's good for all of us.
