I love ROTJ, so that's a good thing. The Ewoks and Boba Fett's death never bothered me at all.
Me neither, but those two things are hardly what's wrong with ROTJ...
Precisely. I too love ROTJ but there are things wrong with it. Everyone surviving is something that has always nagged me, amongst others.
A bittersweet ending might have been better (although, for Luke it was somewhat bittersweet until he saw his father's force ghost).
But at the end of the day, I like having a happy ending.
...I thought Boba Fett's death and the Ewoks were what most people complain about. If that's not "hardly what's wrong with ROTJ," then what is exactly? I suppose there is also that Lando was forgiven, but then it's not inexplicable given that Leia and Chewie let Lando take the Falcon (though Chewie copiloted) at the end of Empire.
